What you’ll be doing

As a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner within our NHS Manchester team, you will be providing assessments and treatment to individuals who have been referred into our Step 2 Talking Therapies service. You will be managing a caseload of clients and delivering a range of evidence based one-to-one or group interventions.

What we need from you

• You will be a Qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (or nearing qualification).
• You will have experience of working with people facing a range of barriers and social issues.
• You will have experience of working with individuals 1-2-1 and groups of people in different settings to help them achieve their goals.
• You will have knowledge of the barriers and issues facing our client group.
• You will have the ability to use a database or ability to learn how to use a database.
• You will have the ability to manage a varied and complex workload effectively.
• You will have a positive outlook and a ‘can do’ attitude.

What we will offer you in return

• An annual salary of £32,324 (NHS B5 plus two years fixed point).
• A permanent, full-time contract (37.5 hours per week).
• 25 days holiday, and 30 once you’ve been here five years.
• A combination of working from home and from our office in Old Trafford, Manchester. Some travel to other Manchester venues is requires on occasion.
