Community Engagement Volunteer

Adhoc – around 2-3 hours per week 1 day 

Are you ready to make a real impact in your community?

Do you wish to develop skills within the mental health sector?

Join us as a Community Engagement Volunteer and become a vital part of our mission to support individuals in their mental health journey

 

You will have the opportunity to support as part of the community engagement team at Manchester talking therapies. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference by helping clients achieve their goals, supporting wellbeing tasters in the community, and developing relationships with external organizations.

But that’s not all – you will also get to showcase your creativity by promoting our services at community events, using targeted promotions, and engaging with social media. Your input will be valued in improving client engagement and facilitating focus groups.

NHS Manchester Talking Therapies is part of The Big Life group’s user-led mental health charity who provide the majority of Step 2 IAPT treatment in Manchester on behalf of the NHS. We deliver a range of services including support groups, eTherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and counselling.

We welcome application from people with personal experience of mental health problems.
