About us
Big Life Schools is a Multi-Academy Trust that delivers two primary schools, Longsight Community Primary and Unity Community Primary, providing support, governance, and strategic direction for our schools. It is part of The Big Life group.
Big Life is in the business of changing lives. We fight inequality by working with people and places to create opportunities and inspire change. Whatever service we deliver to help people to change their lives, we do things the Big Life Way.
What you’ll be doing
As our Communications and PR Assistant, you will work closely with the teams at both Big Life Schools, initially in particular Unity Community Primary, based in Cheetham Hill. Your main responsibility will be to generate content at the schools, and translate this into high-quality external communications and PR content.
You will work alongside, and be supported by, The Big Life group’s wider Communications and Engagement Team, contributing to a workplan that aims to promote the school to new audiences, and attract more children and families to benefit from being part of Big Life Schools.

Big Life strives to be diverse and inclusive - a place where we can all be ourselves. We strongly encourage applicants from all parts of society. You can read on our careers site about the actions we are taking ourselves to fight inequality and inspire change.
We actively value the lived experiences and expertise of our staff, volunteers and the people who use our service and see the extra value that they bring to our organisation.
