Big Life is in the business of changing lives. We fight inequality by working with people and places to create opportunities and inspire change. The Big Life group works to develop partnerships with communities, decision-makers, and services to widen opportunities, grow local assets and build resilience.
Our services work with people on all areas of their life and help them with the things that matter most to them, working with them to remove all the obstacles to changing their life for the better. We help people see the skills and support they already have so they can build on it. This is known as working in the Big Life Way.
What you’ll be doing
As a co-ordinator within our Big Issue service, you will focus on working with the Sheffield team to provide a first-class service to vendors of The Big Issue North Trust. You will enable them to earn an income from selling the Big Issue Magazine, and support them to access a range of services which will help them change their lives.
Do you have the drive to help develop opportunities through social prescribing activities, partnership-working and signposting? Do you have an ability to communicate appropriately and develop challenging, motivational and positive relationships with vulnerable adults?
