Introducing The Big Life group Impact Report
As we approach the end of another year, we wanted to reflect on the impact we have made and the challenges we’ve faced together. This year has tested our resilience and reinforced our commitment to empowering individuals and communities.
In the past year, The Big Life group has provided life-changing support to 58,606 people, equipping them with the tools to overcome barriers and reach their goals.
Our centres have been hubs of community connection, hosting 94,706 visits and 36,242 face-to-face drop-ins. These interactions have allowed us to understand and meet the needs of individuals while creating lasting, meaningful change.
Growth has been a defining feature of the year. We achieved a £35.1m turnover, reflecting an impressive £4.2m increase, and secured £1.6m in new contracts, enabling us to expand our reach and enhance our services.
Big Life is also committed to sustainability, and this year we’ve continued to reduce our total emissions over the past four years. By prioritising people and the planet, we’re contributing to a better future for all.
Our commitment to integrity and purpose remains unwavering. This year, we retained our two-star Best Companies status. We’re especially proud of our team: 85% of staff love working at Big Life, and 90% feel proud to be part of our organisation and value the social conscience that guides everything that we do.
2024 was not without its challenges. We were victim of a criminal cyber-attack, which happened despite our best security measures. While we responded swiftly and took immediate action to address the breach, it was undoubtedly a difficult period.
Considering this, the achievements we are highlighting here are more than just numbers and data —they are a testament to the vision, passion, and hard work of our team, stakeholders, and our supporters. Together, we’ve created a lasting impact while laying the groundwork for even greater success.
In April 2025, we will launch our new 5-year business plan. We’re excited to continue making a difference, tackling new challenges, and creating even greater positive change.
