Acupuncture Works Clinic
Manchester’s only Community Acupuncture clinic.
Some of the issues their trained acupuncturists treat are:
- Muscular skeletal pain: low back, hip, shoulder, neck and knee pain
- Mood disorders such as anxiety and depression
- Fertility and gynaecological issues arising in pregnancy including nausea, headaches and anxiety
- Menopausal changes
Initial consultations and treatment £30 to £45. Follow up appointments £15 to £25.

Bread And Butter
The Bread and Butter Thing provides affordable weekly groceries at a fraction of supermarket prices.
For £8.50, members receive around £35 worth of food, including fresh fruit and vegetables, chilled items, and cupboard staples. Food varies weekly and is sourced from surplus supplies from supermarkets, factories, and farms.

The Sugar Group
The Sugar Group supports anyone living with Type 2 Diabetes to live well.
We are a fun, friendly group that helps you manage diabetes by offering knowledge, gentle exercise and a break from the day-to-day worries and sense of isolation that diabetes can bring.
We also work closely with local health and educational professionals to raise awareness of the impact of the disease on people with an Afro-Caribbean background and to help improve the lives of people with the disease.
On Mondays
Women's Yoga
Over thousands of years, people of all ages have practiced yoga to help boost their physical and mental wellbeing.
It’s an especially good way to improve strength, flexibility and balance.
Led by a qualified, experienced yoga teacher, this women only session is for all ages and abilities. So whether you’re getting back to regular exercise or looking to take up exercise for the first time, this yoga session is a great place to start.
There is no fixed charge for a session, just donate what you can.
