Mike Naraynsingh

Trustee

Mike was appointed to the Board as a Trustee on 1 December 2023.

He previously worked for six years at the Big Life Group, latterly as a Director. Before that he had been an Assistant Director in the NHS and for a number of years was the Head of Drug Treatment Services for Manchester. Prior to the NHS Mike worked in Local Government firstly in the Youth Service and then as a Public Education Officer for HIV prevention in Manchester City Council.

Mike has served on several Boards, including as Chair of number of VCSE organisations some of which he helped to establish. He was a member of the Government’s Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs (ACMD), for nine years.

Mike is most proud of his family, especially his four grandchildren.
